i am going to be installing remote start in a couple days so if i ground out the ignition switch will that fix it if it is indeed the clutch switch that is bad

if doing the cat and 2.5" muffler, why not step up the cat and get a new B-pipe. for a little more you could have 3/4 of an exhaust system. get a header later and you're set. with that sa

If it were me I'd warm it up with a hair dryer and lube the bearings on the pulleys with a little WD-40. Don't get any on the belt though.
